Legs are two of the very important organs of body which carry the weight of whole body. Legs of players, gymnasts, athletes and the persons working in the circus etc demand extra exercise and care. In case of women, legs play extra important role in deciding their geography and history. Persons from the sport field, often complain of muscle stretch which is a very painful experience. Thigh muscle stretch is a common phenomenon to the sport persons, athletes, gymnasts and other working groups stressing their legs for their work. The people who generally do no perform any exercises or do not give any extra stress to their legs, whenever accidently get muscle stretches or thigh stretches, becomes very painful and hurting experience for them.
In order to keep the legs good looking and sexy, one should regularly go through leg exercises. To get strong, sexy and firm legs, the leg conscious females and males must perform the following work outs. The first exercise is known as ‘seated split stretch' in which the person sits on the mat of the floor and spreads his legs wide open as much as he can and then slants his body in his left side so as to touch the toe of the left leg or knee for half to one minute. The same pattern is then repeated by slanting his body again towards right side. The second thigh stretches exercise is known as ‘seated butterfly' in which a person sit on the fitness mat on the floor with back elongated. The soles of both the legs are kept close to one another and they are taken near the body as much as possible. Both the hands are kept on the knees in supporting position. Extra care is needed to perform this exercise because some time people get injured doing this exercise. The third one is known as lying leg pull which is a complete thigh exercise. The person lies on his back on the mat of the floor with both the legs flat on the floor. The knee position should be slight in the air. Then the right leg heel is taken on the left leg thigh. The hands are used to pull the left thigh towards the chest. This position should be maintained up to half to one minute and then repeated again for the left leg heel onto the right thigh. These thigh stretches exercises should be done before and after other exercises. |
